2 yearsBE WARY Got a call on my landline from this number on 19/9/24, long pause then some poorly recorded, crackly message from a woman saying something about bank security. It sounded dodgy especially since I'd just been shopping online. The message was really wobbly and unclear. As soon as I heard "This is a call from Bank Security," I hung up. Reported it to bt.com/scams straight away. The number differs from the usual ones banks use - they normally have regional prefixes like 0345, not this one.
