I received a call earlier today concerning some 'advertising'. The woman on the other end seemed rather uninterested the moment we mentioned that the person they wanted to reach was unavailable. As soon as we asked for further information, she completely brushed us off. In fact, she hung up on us while we were still in the middle of our conversation! Just so you know, we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

It felt a bit rude, to be honest, especially when they abruptly cut us off mid-sentence.
