Just an update on the number mentioned earlier - it belongs to Stourbridge Health & Social Care Centre. From what I’ve heard, they only use it to make outgoing calls and don’t take any incoming ones. Hopefully this bit of info clears things up!

On 13th September 2021, my husband received a call from this number about a physio appointment. When he tried calling back three days later to confirm the time, the call wouldn’t connect and a message said the number was wrong. The appointment is meant to be at a place close to Corbett Hospital. We’re not sure if it’s genuine until we turn up at the given time. Fingers crossed it’s not some kind of scam, since he’s already getting physiotherapy at the health centre, so we thought it was just a continuation.

I’ve labelled it as harassing because they don’t leave any message and you can’t get through to anyone. If it were someone from the NHS or a nurse, I’m sure they’d leave a message. Feels like this is just a generic number shared around by different companies.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who, when pressed, couldn’t give me my own info. I kept asking and all he had was an address and a surname. Come on, if you really know who’s there, you should be able to answer a simple question. I told him if I looked up his number online, it’d probably say “scam alert”! Seriously, folks, don’t let these muppets get away with it - make them prove they know your details. If they can’t, then they surely don’t have your full info like proper companies would who you deal with.

I’m certain these calls are from the District Nurses. They might ring you, but you’re not able to return the call on this number. Instead, you need to phone the Russell’s Hall operator and ask them to connect you to the District Nurse. Hope this info helps.
