Today I picked up a call that showed a local number. The message was robotic, saying there were some dodgy charges on my account - something like £300 spent on Amazon and a £1000 transfer. But they didn’t say which bank it was, or any of my details, like my name or what kind of account it was. It sounded fishy to me, so I just ended the call straight away.
