I keep getting calls from dodgy numbers all the time. These days I just ignore them and let my voicemail pick up. If there’s no message left, I use 1471 to check the number and then look it up online. Usually, it turns out to be either a rubbish number or one from a provider that hides their caller ID. From what I’ve seen, most of those silent numbers are telemarketers. Honestly, there should be laws to stop this growing annoyance. If it’s something important, I don’t mind getting back to them at all.

This whole thing feels like such a breach of privacy, not just this company but loads of others as well. I’ve signed up for TPS and all that stuff but it never seems to do any good. I’m not about to get a BT phone either as I doubt it’ll really fix anything. Sure, maybe it helps a bit for a short while, but like TPS, it won’t actually sort it out in the end.

Had loads of missed calls from this number when I was out and they’ve tried ringing twice since I got back, but I didn’t pick up. I’m on the TPS too, so I’ve just blocked the number now. It’s ridiculous how we have to keep dealing with these nuisance calls.
