I’ve received what appears to be a robotic call purporting to be from Amazon, claiming they’ve auto-renewed my membership. When I pressed the first button, I ended up chatting with a woman whose accent was distinctly Asian, and she informed me that I don’t even have an account with them. Quite frustratingly, I’ve had eight of these calls this week alone, some from private numbers and others from the one mentioned above.
