Today, Tuesday 28th May 2019, I got five calls between 1:19 and 13:31 from these numbers: 1381224372, 01380884731, 01385019026, 01381006538 & 01383849621. It was a recorded message, sounded like an American, telling me my broadband was gonna be cut off today. I just ended the call straight away and kept on with my day as usual.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk about my internet, but it was total rubbish, probably a scam from overseas. Just ignore and block them, then report to TalkTalk straight away.

I totally get what everyone’s saying here. They ring up nearly every couple of days, and a lot of the time it’s just me getting the voicemail. Proper annoying!

This is like the third time I’ve had a call from this number. They said they were from my internet provider, TalkTalk, even gave my postcode, which was a bit suspicious. Can’t ring them back though, the number won’t pick up. Feels dodgy, maybe one of those scams linked to those past TalkTalk data leaks.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk but there was so much static and noise in the background it was impossible to understand properly. They mentioned something about a router issue but I told them there’s nothing wrong with mine. Felt like a scam so I just ended the call. Planning to contact TalkTalk directly to let them know about it.

I got a call from a guy with a really heavy Indian or Pakistani accent who said he was from TalkTalk, wanting to chat about my internet. Since I got scammed recently by pretty much the same trick (different number, though), I just ended the call straight away. Honestly, I’d tell anyone else to just hang up too. From what I went through, this kind of thing can be quite risky.

got a call from a guy with an accent claiming to be brian from talktalk, saying my router had a virus. when i asked him for his phone number a couple of times, he just cut me off. used the caller id to check with talktalk and they confirmed no such call. he also said he was based in manchester! already told talktalk about it.
