Received a call supposedly from "Domestic Appliances" today. They tried to persuade me into renewing the policies for three of my household gadgets, all with a tempting 35% discount, of course. The agent, who had a noticeable Eastern European twang, somehow knew my last name. I've flagged this with the Information Commissioner's Office already.
