I just received a call from this number; it was some sort of claims agency - I didn't quite catch their name. They claimed I had somehow ticked a box on an insurance site, which supposedly gave them permission to ring me up. However, when I pressed for the specifics of the site, he couldn’t provide any details. To be frank, I never engage with insurance on the internet, and I haven't had any mishaps to speak of! They mentioned something about a car accident in the last three years - absolutely ridiculous! Do one, mate!

A bloke with a posh English accent called me saying I’d apparently been in a small car accident. Thing is, I don’t even drive - my husband does, but he kept insisting it was me. Honestly, I don’t even have a driving licence! Feels like some scam to me, and I’m really uneasy about how he managed to get hold of my phone number and full name. Quite worrying, to be honest.
