Got a call but when I picked up, there was nobody on the line. Maybe some kind of automated system or something? Pretty weird!

So got a call from 01383 622 376, said it was from Dunfermline, Scotland, on the 3rd of December 2018 around 10.38 in the morning. A lady named Shirley claimed my internet service was about to be cut off and that my address had been leaked or something. Felt like a total scam to me. Just another one of those annoying tricks.

I just got this recorded call from someone with an American accent saying my IP address was hacked or something. They told me my internet would be cut off in a day or two unless I press 1 to talk to a technician. Seems like one of those scams to me. Definitely wouldn’t trust it!
