I’m in Kilmarnock too, and the same thing happened to me. I got a call from CR Smith, they wanted to set up a time to check the windows and doors my landlord, Link Housing, had just organised for my place. Just like the person before me said!

The surveyor firm already had my contact info and window specs, which I’d given to the Council. When I asked why their number kept showing up as spam, they explained it’s because they make loads of outgoing calls to different Councils across Scotland and other clients, setting off spam alerts.
