This bloke said he was calling from the NHS and started asking me about my COVID vaccinations, like if I had any pain or swelling after them. Then he went on about how the government was pushing life insurance due to COVID. When I asked him again where exactly he was calling from, he mumbled something that sounded like NHS. I asked if he meant the NHS, but he denied it and said it sounded like ENACHS or something close to that. It was really confusing and felt quite dishonest.

This guy claimed he was from the NHS, but his accent was so thick I could barely catch what he was saying. He wanted my address and mentioned something about me getting a letter soon to book my third jab. After that, he started rambling about paying for the vaccine and some life insurance stuff. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve had a bunch of dodgy calls from all sorts of UK numbers. I never pick up if the number’s not in my contacts. Whenever I check them on this site, it’s always the same old scam about insurance. They’re just trying to trick people into giving away their bank details so they can clean out accounts! They target folks online who might be anxious, even using Covid vaccine chat as a way to bring up health insurance. This definitely isn’t the NHS ringing! These scammers are the same lot who ring asking about car crashes!
