I had a rather odd encounter with a gentleman who had a distinct foreign accent, asserting he was from BT. When I sought clarification on the purpose of his call, he abruptly terminated the conversation. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

I received a rather concerning call, supposedly from BT, stating that there was an issue with their server which could potentially expose my device to harmful viruses. They provided me with a rather convoluted number to ring back - 02031... - far too many digits in my opinion! They assured me they would return my call, but I've not heard a peep since. Quite baffling!

I received a call from a chap with a rather distinct accent claiming he was from the BT tech support team. He asked me to jump onto my computer so he could assist in boosting my internet speed.

I've run into a right dodgy situation. An individual with an Indian accent pretended to be from BT, claiming there was a virus on my computer and attempting to convince me to grant him remote access. Before I knew it, my bank account was being emptied in a flash! When I asked for his name, he claimed to be "Mark Watson" and provided the number 0800 4154508. I suggest checking out the BT scam alerts regarding both the name and the number. It's all very suspect!
