I pick up the phone, only to have someone hang up on me every time. It’s quite bizarre! Whenever I attempt to return the call, it cuts off right away. Since I don’t have caller ID, I never have a clue who’s trying to reach me. It leaves me scratching my head about why they even bother calling at all. It's not like I share my landline with just anyone, so I’m baffled about how they managed to get hold of my number. Quite puzzling, indeed!

Received a call on my landline at the crack of dawn, 6am on a Saturday, no less! It’s a phone that rarely sees action, so you can imagine my surprise - I shot out of bed faster than a startled rabbit, convinced something dreadful had happened or that a child was in distress. But no! It simply rang once and then hung up. Tried to call back after checking 1471, only for it to cut me off! Absolutely infuriating! 😡

I’ve been getting incessant calls from this number-each time, there’s no one on the other end. It’s quite unsettling, particularly for the elderly.

It’s not really a bother, but I’m just unfamiliar with the number.
