I got a call on my home phone, some guy telling me that my internet was going to be cut off in a day due to some suspicious activity. The voice was unmistakably American and sounded like a pre-recorded message. They told me to press 1 to get through to BT or press 2 to talk to 'anyone else'. I just hung up straight away, it was clearly a dodgy scam - BT would never do things like that.
