Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying his name was Robin and he needed to ask me a few questions. I told him his name wasn’t Robin and that it sounded like me pretending to be Sunil or Ahmed, Mohamed or something. The day before, I had a call from a similar number, an Indian guy calling himself Mark. When he kept going, I just kept calling him a "wretched s#ammer". He fired back calling me a "bar-steward" before hanging up. Now I'm waiting for the lady to call so I can start asking about the colour of her knickers.

Phone keeps ringing but it’s always so quiet and no one picks up. 013828 10862 called me at 1:47 pm on 6th Nov. I don’t usually pick up calls from numbers I don’t know, but I thought it might be someone I was waiting to hear from. The caller said they were from Benefits UK. It was a man with an Indian accent, and when I asked him some questions, he just ignored me. I ended up answering some of his questions because it was a bit hard to understand him. I’ve blocked the number now and won’t be picking up calls from unknown numbers anymore. Guess the person I was waiting for will have to contact me another way.

Got the same type of call again, they keep switching numbers daily. I’ve blocked this one and plan to block any others that come through. Make sure to have caller ID and don’t pick up if you don’t recognise the number. Usually, they send automated calls first just to see if someone answers. If you pick up and theres silence, be careful because someone might ring back later, possibly trying to scam you. Best to just steer clear.

A lady with an Asian accent called, spoke really fast with a strong Indian tone. I think she mentioned something about 'Benefits UK'. She asked me to verify my name and address and wanted to ask a bunch of questions. Every time I asked her why she needed my details, she kept sticking to her script. They sometimes use automated calls just to see if someone is there. If you pick up and there’s silence, chances are you'll get another call later from either the same or a different number, trying to scam you. Best to steer clear.

Got a call twice on 05/11/18 about 6pm from an Asian guy. He gave different names each time and was asking for the lady of the house. First time I told him to take our number off their list. Second time he was asking for my mum. I asked who he was, he said he’s calling from India. I told him I don’t know anybody from India and told him to stop calling and delete our number. Just a heads up, this number and these calls might worry some people.

This number rang me at 5:50pm today. It’s a bit worrying how folks nowadays are scared to pick up their phone thinking it’s just another sales call, which it usually ends up being. Back in the day, the only calls you’d get were from mates or family, no annoying cold callers or fraudsters. The government really needs to take stronger action against this. I’ve been registered with the TPS for ages but it honestly doesn’t seem to help one bit.

I let the phone ring about 5 times before answering, then didn’t say anything and after a few moments the call just ended. If it’s Benefits UK, they tend to switch numbers every now and then. These lot are just fishing for your personal details. They claim to be from something like UK Benefits - if that’s even a real thing. The minute they figure out you’re not daft, just hang up. I’m serious, a mate of mine got proper badly hurt because of these tossers. His head got smashed in and now he’s got a metal plate. They keep hassling him since he’s been duped before. I’ve noticed they use loads of different numbers for Benefits UK. You block one, and then another rings up from somewhere else. Proper annoying, honestly a right nuisance.

BT Call Guardian couldn’t tell who it was. I’m guessing it was either a scammer or some sort of call centre. I've just gone ahead and blocked the number.

Ugh, not Benefits UK ringing again! They called me twice this afternoon, and it's like they've got endless numbers to use, probably all dodgy. Someone really needs to dig up who's running the show behind the scenes - those people making the calls are just the pawns. Even tho Benefits UK has been reported millions of times for pestering folks, I haven't seen any real action or useful info about it. We need proper details like company names, addresses, and real phone numbers. Most people just hang up or tell them to get lost (guilty as charged), but that won’t ever lead to any legal action.

Got a call from 01382810862 supposedly from Benefits UK. When I finally picked up and told the fella to quit calling me, he got really rude. I just ended the call. Proper annoying how often they ring!
