Really annoying phone call, sounded fake from the start. The bloke claimed it was some kind of government cashback deal for new windows, but it was all rubbish. They were pushy, kept hounding me to give my mobile number - you can bet it’s so they can pass it around to other dodgy scammers. When my partner didn’t fall for it and refused to spill the digits, the caller acted like a sulky kid. Total waste of time!

Got a call on 11.09.18 from someone claiming to be with a government grant scheme, something like 'Scottish Regeneration Program' through 'First Home Solutions' or similar. They mentioned a 40% discount, minimum spend £2500. I didn't bother looking into it, seemed dodgy. They said they were meeting my neighbour at 7 PM and could see me too. When I told them I’d note down their contact details because I wasn’t interested right away, they just hung up on me.

They've phoned us around 5 times in the past month and even though I've asked them to stop ringing, they just keep on calling. Got two calls today from the same number. They kept insisting I’m owed cashback for new windows, trying to sound all official. I told them I’m not into it or entitled to anything like that. Then the bloke, who said his name was Owen, got proper annoyed and started raising his voice. Turns out it’s some double glazing company from Dundee going under different names like Thermal Homes or Total Home Solutions. I’m on the TPS and have asked them nearly 20 times to stop ringing, but they just won’t quit. I’ve now reported it to the police as it’s turned into harassment.

This number called me a few times and the guy sounded quite nice at first, asking about windows. We chatted a bit, then he said he wasn’t really interested. Since then, I’ve had about five more calls from them. The last time I picked up, it felt a bit pushy and made me uneasy. I really don’t want to hear any sales pitches over the phone - it’s just not for me. So, to Mr Campbell and the others at Anglia, please stop calling. Got a ring from this number earlier. The bloke said he was with Thermal Homes or some similar outfit. I told him I was tied up, and he said he’d give me another call later. When I made it clear I wasn’t interested and asked him not to bother, he just said, "You don’t know what it’s about, madam, I’ll ring back," then snapped the line off before I could say anything else! I’d block the number but my phone’s full up, and I’m sure they’d just switch to another fake one anyway. Best to just ignore and block if you can!
