Got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be with Sky’s customer care team. They said I’d been overcharged and was owed money back. Right away, they wanted personal info like my DOB. I told them it sounded dodgy since I’ve never even had a Sky account. Felt like a straight up scam to me.

Someone rang claiming to be from Sky, saying I was owed a refund. Their accent was really thick, definitely not Scottish. I just told them nicely to do one - I'm not that daft!
