Got a recorded voice saying that bank transfers of £1100 and £300 were sent to Amazon. Definitely sounds like one of those scam calls.

Got another call from folks in New Delhi, India, asking for £900 supposedly for an Amazon payment - pretty much what I’d expect by now. I gave them my go-to: a made-up name but used the right sort code just to mess around. You’d figure with all the time they spend on this rubbish, they could find something legit to do. Honestly, I reckon the British Empire messed up letting them go - they’ve caused nothing but hassle ever since.

Got a voicemail saying my card was charged £300 at Amazon and £1,100 at Western Union. They asked me to press 1 to talk to customer services to verify the charges. I rang up my bank straight away - no such payments showing. Deleted the message right after. Sounds like a classic scam to me.

Got a robo call from a woman saying there was £300 taken from my Amazon and £1100 taken from Western Union. Definitely one of those usual scam calls.
