Had a call claiming to be from Amazon but it was obvious a scam. They kept asking me to ring a number starting with 1 but honestly, I’m not falling for it because it just helps the tiny scammers out there. Don’t do it!

I just received a robo call claiming to be from Amazon, telling me to press 1 to cancel my Amazon Prime or they'd charge me around £80. The weird bit is, I didn't even know I had Amazon Prime! Just hung up straight away. Has anyone else got a call like this???

best thing to do is just ignore calls from scammers, dont bother picking up at all!

I picked up the call and all I could hear was silence. After a bit, I just hung up.
