11 yearsJust got a call from these people claiming they had info about a car crash I was involved in. They said it wasn’t my fault and wanted to discuss it. I told them I’ve never had a car accident. They kept going on about it happening within the last 7 and a half years. Which is odd, since I only moved to the UK half a year ago and definitely haven't been in any crash here. Told them I don’t even drive or have a licence, then they suddenly hung up. No way I’m calling them back. What creeps me out is they knew my name and the number was local to my area too. The number was 01382412069, if anyone else gets a call from them, be careful!UK11 yearsThis number has contacted me a few times, saying there’s a file about me being involved in an accident, as if they want to make a claim for me. But I haven’t been in any accident at all. I told them to remove any records they have on me immediately. I’m thinking of checking this under the freedom of information laws because it feels like an invasion of privacy. I honestly don’t know how they got my phone number.
