It’s not one of those broadband scams, BT are just the ones supplying the phone service. The people who answered left a voicemail saying they’d follow up with an email instead. Nothing dodgy going on here.

This number showed up on my phone with a missed call, and since I’ve been caught out by a scam before, I’m not taking any chances this time. I’ve decided to block the number straight away, even though I never picked up. I read somewhere that the call came from BT, which makes me suspect it’s one of those broadband fault scams. Plus, I’m not keen on getting calls from Scotland at all.
