Someone called asking for a Mr Billy but spoke with a really thick accent I couldn’t make out. I asked them to spell the name. I told them nobody here goes by that name, so they must have dialled the wrong number. After that, they just hung up.

Today, I received a rather suspicious call from a woman claiming to be from British Gas. She began probing me about my current energy supply contract. It was crystal clear that her aim was to extract personal details, but I wisely refrained from sharing any information!
