Got a call from an older Scottish lady claiming she was checking up on a medical survey I supposedly did last year. When I said I couldn’t remember anything about it, she suggested maybe it was my missus who did it. She already had our names and address though. As soon as I said I reckoned it was a scam, she just hung up. Watch out for this one!

I received a rather peculiar call from a gentleman speaking with a Scottish brogue. He addressed me by name, which I found quite baffling since my number isn't listed anywhere. He went on about some health survey that I supposedly filled out a year ago, but I have absolutely no recollection of it. I firmly told him to clear off and promptly ended the conversation. How odd!

I received an annoying phone call from a charming Scottish woman named Sheena. She seemed to be well-acquainted with my name and address and mentioned that I had participated in some survey about aches and pains approximately a year back. When I informed her that I had no memory of such a thing, she simply noted it down as 'no change' and promptly hung up. Quite an odd experience, to say the least!

Got a call about 2:15 this afternoon, they addressed me by my name and claimed I did a survey last year. Told them I never take phone surveys so it must be a mistake, then ended the call. This feels like an unwanted cold call and really needs stricter rules in place.

They called my mum, shes in her 90s, saying she filled out some form a year ago, which she defo didn't. They phoned her twice. She was really shook up. Luckily, Who Called Me helped me clear things up and calm her down.

Got a call around midday today. They said they knew my name and claimed I’d done a survey about Arthritis a year ago - I’ve got health issues but not Arthritis. They said it was for research, so I asked if they were working for the NHS or Dundee University - at least they admitted they weren’t. Then they just ended the call on me.

Got a bloke with a Scottish accent ringing and asking for me by name. Whenever I get a call from an unknown number, I just reply politely but firm, keepin' it tight and sounding like one of those automated voice systems. So I said "Hello", he asked "Is that Mr xxxx?" and I just said "Hello" again, then he ended the call straight away. This number's called me a few times now, sometimes it’s dead quiet, other times I can hear people chatting like it’s a call centre in the background.

Got a call from this number on 1st August 2016. A woman with a clear Scottish accent said I’d done a health survey last year. I told her I never do surveys, then she asked if anyone else in my house might have. I said no, and she just hung up. Not sure what she was after, didn’t bother asking - maybe trying to sell private health cover? I’m signed up to TPS as well, but that doesn’t seem to stop these calls much.
