We had some people round the house from a window firm, and then this number rang my husband. She told him he’d been giving her the cold shoulder and wanted to catch up. When he asked why, she claimed they’d met in a pub the week before! Then she added she didn’t realise he was married. The number showed up without any area code. Luckily, I found this site. It has to be that window company again. Since we didn’t buy anything, they’re clearly just trying to get under our skin with these stupid games.

Got a ring from this dodgy cold caller tonight... weird thing is, I only switched my landline number yesterday and it’s ex-directory too... the lot calling were Aspen Capital from Digital IT Centre, 10 Douglas St, Dundee DD1 5AJ. Their site’s at www.aspencs.co.uk. They’re apparently linked with some big firms, one of which has my car insurance... So this bloke calling himself Ryan said he was from some place called "Home Solutions". My missus ended up just cutting the call off. Then, just four minutes later, he rang again and got really nasty with us. I told him straight that we’re signed up with the TPS, so he shouldn’t be bothering us. He just laughed it off like he didn’t know what TPS was and claimed he could ring us anyway. I tried to reason with him but he just slammed the phone down. Proper annoying, these people should be shut down.
