Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be from BT, telling me my internet would be cut off in 30 days. The person had a strong foreign accent and there was a lot of background noise. When I asked for more details, they just muttered something about power issues. Didn’t feel right so I ended the call pretty quick.

Received two calls, one on the 13th of October and another today, the 16th. The person on the line had a foreign accent and said they were from BT. They warned me that my internet was about to be disconnected because of unpaid bills or that my computer had a nasty virus. Told them they were the virus themselves!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying their team could sort out my internet which kept dropping out. Turned out it was a scam, not the real technical support at all.

Got a dodgy call from someone saying they were from BT, told me my internet would be cut off for five days. The bloke had an Indian accent and I could hear a lot of noise in the background. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

This number rang me around 11 this morning, asking for Mr P###HHHF (which is odd because spam calls usually go for Mrs Pi#####). I asked my lad if he knew the number but he had no clue. I just said ‘hello’ then stayed silent, and after a bit, the caller just hung up. I could hear some background sounds, like a radio or speaker playing something, and the bloke had a bit of an Aussie accent I think. Added it straight to my BT Protect spam block list!

I answered the phone earlier today around 8:30 and all I could hear was strange noises in the background. The person on the other end said my computer was causing issues with their main power line and claimed they needed to turn off my computer for two whole months. They even asked me who my internet supplier was! Honestly, I’m baffled how they managed to get these details in the first place.

It's a relief having phones these days that can just block those annoying calls straight away.

I got a call from someone saying my computer had a virus, which was odd because they claimed our county was the only one in England with its own company. The weird part is I don’t even have a computer, let alone internet! As soon as I told her that, she just hung up on me straight away.
