Sounds like some sort of fake robot bloke pretending to be from BT tech support. He said my internet would get chopped off in a day because my IP got hacked or something. Kept telling me to hit certain numbers on my phone. Having a recording wouldn’t have done any good, seemed like a generated voice to me.

Someone rang up pretending to be from my internet company, but as soon as I asked him who I actually used, he just stumbled and blurted out BT before going through a whole list of other providers. Honestly, it was kind of funny watching him struggle. I told him he'd be better off finding a proper job since he clearly wasn’t cut out for this whole scam thing.
