I received a rather chilly call from someone claiming to be with Vodafone.

Just got a ring from this number a few days ago claiming to be from Vodafone. They told me they were rolling out CityFibre gigabit broadband near me soon. Seemed pretty legit and they even mentioned some stuff about my account. But when I phoned Vodafone customer service, they said there wasn’t any record of them calling me. Feels dodgy to me, so watch out and don’t give out your info.

I'm fairly sure it's Vodafone calling, but they're using a local number to make it seem more familiar.
