They kept ringing me non stop. I finally picked up and just said “hello” and the call got cut off straight away. Proper irritating, so I’ve just gone ahead and blocked the number now.

It was a total scam, they pretended to be from BT and were fishing for my bank info. Then, they said my internet wasn’t working and wanted to get into my computer. Proper dodgy lot.

Got a ring a moment ago, said hello and they just ended the call straight away. Blocked the number now. I've been getting calls every day from BT scammers, all sorts of different numbers. I'm just blocking them as they come. Might just keep the answerphone on all the time from now on.

Got a call from some woman abroad, all she did was say 'hello' and then she just disconnected straight away.

Just now, around 8:45 on Thursday the 27th of September, had a call that ended instantly. It woke my elderly relative who was trying to have a peaceful rest. Honestly this is becoming really nasty. I’ve been using BT call block 1572 which is pretty good, but only helps once the nuisance calls have already disturbed us. It’s about time BT stepped up and provided free or cheaper “see who’s calling” phones for our older folks who are especially at risk.

Got a UK number showing an international code, seems to be from a batch of various numbers, a few flagged as BT scammers. This all started after I accidentally picked up one call a few days ago - now they won’t stop ringing!

had about five calls today, all from different numbers, but the same scam about bt threatening to cut off my service if i don't get back to them. it's so annoying! you'd think bt would do something to block these muppets by now. such a waste of time.
