I got a call from someone with a foreign accent looking for the "computer owner." As soon as I asked who they were, they just cut off the call right away. Seems pretty clear to me they were just trying to get into my computer somehow. My advice? Don’t even entertain these calls - just hang up and block the number if possible. Better safe than sorry!

I got a call from some bloke abroad claiming to be from BT broadband about my internet. I had a chuckle and asked why he was ringing. I told him this was the 6th time he’s called about something I dont even have and dont want since I'm trying to cut down on expenses! Cheers for the call, I said, then hung up.

This bloke with a foreign accent called saying my BT broadband was acting up (I ain't even with BT!) and offered to fix it. He told me to hit the ctrl and r keys at the same time, then asked what popped up on my screen. When I said "nowt," he just hung up on me!
