Got a call from someone saying they were from BT tech support, saying there was unusual activity on my internet and asking me to press 1 to fix it. I’m not with BT anyway - they’re way too expensive and rubbish in my opinion. I haven’t noticed any funny business online either. Plus, I seriously doubt BT’s tech team would be working out of some backwater place like Diss. They didn’t even bother giving any real names, either theirs or mine. Definitely sounds like a typical “press 1” scam to me.
