7 yearsGot a robotic call claiming my internet was about to be cut off because of some dodgy activity. It told me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I didn’t do. Then there was this weird sound and a bloke with an Indian accent came on, saying my connection had been hacked. I asked him for an authorisation code, and he said I’d have to write it down and give it back to him. Then he said he needed to tell me a code to prove his identity, but again insisted I had to say the code to him. I just told him to take a hike and ended the call.Submit Your Own Report (01377 992713)
