Upon picking up the call, I heard a recorded message stating, "This is Amazon Prime and we will be charging £39.99 from your account. If you wish to contest this, please press the button..." It's clearly a scam! We don’t even possess an Amazon Prime subscription, and in any case, it wouldn’t be connected to our landline. What a farce!
