Someone rang me yesterday evening saying we’d paid too much on our Legal and General insurance. I wasn’t convinced so I looked up the number and found out it’s linked to scammers.

I got a call from a woman who claimed my life insurance needed a review. She couldn’t say which company I supposedly had it with, when it would expire, or why it needed reviewing. When I told her I didn’t even have life insurance, she got pretty snappy and rude before just hanging up on me.
