I got an email claiming to be from PayPal saying I owed a big sum or had an invoice outstanding, and they gave a phone number to call to sort it out. But right away I knew it was dodgy - if you ring the number, they try to get your personal info to scam you. So my advice is, don’t bother ringing and just chuck those fake emails in the bin.
