I was jolted out of my slumber this morning by a call from a number in Braintree. A young lady representing “Brighter Homes” was on the other end. She addressed me by name and seemed all too familiar with my local area. When I probed whether their company checked against the Telephone Preference Service, she hastily said, "My apologies, I shall speak to the manager right away," before promptly ending the call. Quite the rude awakening, I must say!
