A representative from a solar panel company reached out to us around a week to ten days back to schedule a meeting. However, when she mentioned that our partner needed to be there, we made it clear that it wasn’t going to work for us. Fast forward to today, she gave us another ring, and we reiterated that our partner simply can't be involved.

I recently had a missed call on my mobile, so I decided to ring back and introduced myself, mentioning the missed call. The gentleman on the other end requested my mobile number, to which I responded that I preferred not to share it due to past experiences with prank calls. I suggested that if he could clarify what his company was about, it might help determine if the call was legitimate. He insisted on needing my number to tick me off his list, and despite my attempts to clarify, he became quite aggressive, claiming that I was wasting his time and hung up abruptly, despite being the one who initiated the call. I redialled in pursuit of speaking to a manager to lodge a complaint, and to my disbelief, he claimed to be the manager. I queried whether this was how he typically treated potential clients, and he responded that I wasn't a client but merely a time-waster. I truly cannot wrap my head around how someone in a managerial position could engage with the public in such an unpleasant manner. If he'd dialled my number by mistake, one would expect a courteous apology, yet I was met with hostility, complete with swearing and raised voices. Honestly, if that's how he interacts on the phone, I shudder to think how he would behave in a professional setting-it's quite off-putting, to say the least.
