Received a call that left me amused but baffled. They asked for me by name, claiming to represent some Covid department. However, they couldn’t keep a straight face and just laughed before hanging up! Definitely blocking this one!

Received a call from someone pretending to represent the NHS, who was all too keen to know my previous postcode and suggested that I should provide them with an update. Instantly, I sensed something was off and opted not to comply. They then inquired about my life insurance status, and upon me stating that I didn’t have any and wasn’t interested in acquiring any, they abruptly disconnected the call. Clearly, this was an attempt at masquerading as NHS personnel to peddle life insurance and harvest sensitive information. They claimed to have access to updates from my GP - what a fib!

I received a call from someone claiming to be with the NHS inquiring about my Covid vaccination status. When I requested to see some form of identification to confirm their association with the NHS, they assured me that they would follow up with an email and a letter once the call concluded. However, I decided to end the conversation there!

The moment he addressed me as ‘Davey’, I realised it was a total con. When I probed about how he obtained my personal details, he promptly disconnected. It really makes you wonder how effectively the new data protection regulations are holding up. I can't help but ponder just how much they’ve forked out for my information.
