Over the last few months, I’ve had calls from these lot pretty often. They claim to be from Talktalk and say my internet might get cut off soon. I’m careful not to give any personal info, ‘cos it’s clear they’re just scammers. Even when I call them out and say I know it’s a con, they just keep ringing back anyway.

Someone claiming to be from TalkTalk tech support rang me up saying there were issues with my router and that strangers were trying to access it. They asked for my personal info, which felt really dodgy. When I asked them for their phone number, they hung up straight away!

Some bloke with a strong foreign accent called me claiming he was from BT. He kept saying there was something wrong with my internet and that someone was trying to get into it. He wanted me to turn on my computer so he could "sort it out." I didn’t trust him, told him it sounded dodgy, and just hung up.
