sounds to me like it was one of them fake robot voices, not some real person, so recording it wouldnt have done much good. they claimed to be from bt tech support and warned that my internet would be disconnected in a day because they said some hacking was found on my ip. they kept pushing me to press certain numbers on the phone. definitely sounded dodgy.
