Got a cheeky call from an Asian bloke claiming to be from “Currys”, saying he could slash my phone bill by half if I switched over. Told him I wasn’t buying it and he dropped some swear words in English. So, I threw some back in Hindi just for laughs. Hilarious geezer, Raji - ring me again sometime!

Got a call today threatening legal action because of some unpaid tax debt with HMRC. Honestly, felt a bit stressed but wanted to check if this was legit or just another scam trying to scare me into paying. Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure how to properly handle it without making things worse.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from 02, said I could save 30% on my bill. They told me they’d send a text with a link to click. Felt suspicious straight away, so I just hung up. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from some dodgy Indian call centre trying to push mobile phone plans on me. They started talking about £3 deals but were actually trying to sell a GiffGaff contract. I wasted about 10 mins messing them around before the guy got annoyed, called me a rude name, and then just ended the call. Absolutely hilarious! 🀣

Got a call from a woman with a really thick foreign accent claiming she was with some company called "telephonica" or something like that - never heard of them before. I asked her to remove me from their calling list and she kinda responded with "why though?" I just said I'm busy and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away. Pretty sure it's a scam.

I got a call from a robotic voice saying it was from H.M. Revenue and Customs, telling me a letter they sent had come back and that I'd face legal trouble if I didn’t respond. It asked me to press '1' to speak to someone. When I did, a person answered with “Thank you for calling H.M. Revenue and Customs,” but I wasn’t convinced and ended the call straight away. It definitely felt dodgy - especially with that automated message and how quick they jumped to threatening legal action. Seems like a classic scam to me.

Got a call from a lady with a thick Indian accent, loads of noise going on behind her. She said she was calling from PC World but I cut her off right there and ended the call. Sounds fishy to me, especially since I’ve never bought anything from PC World anyway!
