Got a call from some bloke named Daniel from Pension Advisory Blackburn, but the number showed as 01373 763183 which looked local. He asked loads of questions about my pension, seemed legit at first, but then just dropped the call on me. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from a scruffy-sounding lady with an English accent who knew my name straight away. When I asked who it was, she replied “pension assessment services” real quick. I said I’ve never heard of them and she just hung up on me. Seems like these dodgy scam calls are using numbers with local area codes (mine starts 01373) to make it seem like they’re nearby. Definitely steer clear!
