Got a call from some folks trying to sell me a warranty for a washing machine I don’t even own. When I said that, they didn’t sound too pleased, haha. Definitely felt like a scam, wouldn’t trust it.

Got a call claiming my washing machine warranty was up for renewal. They said they had a cheaper deal but then asked for my bank card details and the 3-digit code on the back. When I told them my warranty renews by itself and I wasn’t handing out that info on a call, they just ended the call straight away. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got two calls from this number earlier today. Lucky for us, they never made it past the BT call blocker since they didn’t say who they were before our phone started ringing. So, no interruption, thankfully.

lately i've gotten a bunch of annoying calls like this. I just dont answer 'cause they never leave a voicemail, so i just block them out. in the last few days ive seen 3 different numbers pop up, but they all seem linked, probably the same person or group. every one of them was a landline and the middle three digits was always 999, only the rest of the numbers change. no clue who's doing this.

got a call from some guy claiming the warranty on my washing machine was nearly up and offering a full breakdown cover for like £66 a year or something. i said no thanks. my washing machine's been out of warranty for ages, so this felt like a total scam to me.

I got a call from someone named James at APC, who seemed to know my name. He mentioned it was about an extended warranty for my washing machine. But as soon as I told him I didn’t have any warranty, he just hung up right away.

I haven't been picking up, but since the lockdown rules got relaxed, the amount of random calls I get has gone through the roof. I’m on the TPS list, though, don’t know how much that actually helps.
