A strange number just rang my nine-year-old's mobile, a device that's only supposed to be for me, his dad, his nan, and his aunt. I chose not to pick up, as there's really no justification for anyone else to be calling it!

I've been receiving calls from a con artist posing as an O2 representative. They seem to have multiple numbers at their disposal, and this specific one has already rung me twice today, even after I explicitly told them to jog on.

Received a call purporting to be from O2, and when I probed a bit regarding their intentions and the source of my phone number, the caller became quite irate. They abruptly ended the conversation. It’s evident that this is a scam operation, likely routed through Esher, yet with connections to India. I’d definitely advise caution regarding such calls!

I keep receiving endless calls from this number, and whenever I pick up, there’s just silence on the other end before they cut off. It’s quite maddening! I've decided to block the number and have reported it to my provider.
