I found the call rather muffled, almost as if I was speaking to a call centre. They jumped straight into questions about my mobile network, but when I mentioned I wasn't with the provider they initially brought up, they proceeded to reel off a list of other networks.
By the way, my number is on the Telephone Preference Service registry.

I've received multiple calls from this number, so I decided to investigate. Turns out, it's listed as a scam operation. They really are a dreadful annoyance, particularly for the elderly and those who are more vulnerable. They ought to be put behind bars if you ask me!

As soon as my landline started ringing, I enquired about how they’d acquired my number. They mentioned it was sourced from a list related to properties identified for enhancement, apparently linked to some Government records. And just like that, our conversation was over.

It’s the classic “Driveway” con again. I received a call from a woman’s voice claiming, “We’ve been informed you have a driveway.” I just hung up right away!

Received a call from an unfamiliar number. Decided to let it ring without answering, in the hope that they might drop a message. Naturally, as per the usual routine, no message was left. When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a recorded voice stating, "All lines are currently engaged."
