Honestly, don’t hand over your info to these people. If your eye test is due, places like Boots normally send you a reminder by email or text anyway.

Some woman rang me claiming to be from Boots, saying my eye test was "long overdue, really overdue". She wanted to sort out a booking for me. Thing is, I don’t need an eye test for another year yet. I just told her I’d handle booking it myself through the Boots website and didn’t share any of my info with her.
