I received a rather peculiar phone call today regarding some suspicious transactions on what they claimed was my Visa debit card — one for £900 and another for £300. They instructed me to press one to verify and two to halt the process. The strangest thing, though, is that I don’t even own a Visa debit card! What a bizarre situation!

I’ve received numerous calls from this number over the last few weeks. Strangely enough, whenever I let it ring through to voicemail, I soon get a call from an international line right after! Quite peculiar, I must say!

Received a rather peculiar call just now. An Indian woman on the line claimed there was an issue with my Sky internet connection. I told her I’d get in touch with Sky myself later to resolve the matter, and then she abruptly ended the call. It came through on my landline, too. Quite odd!

I received a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be called Wilson, who mentioned there was a problem with my internet connection. He hung up before I could ask anything.

This morning, I received a phone call from a man with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with my Sky broadband. He cut off abruptly, and shortly after, I got a call from a rather unnerving number (01494297243) that was just dead air. After several hours of quiet, another call came through from 01372878386, but again, it was just silence. Quite the unsettling experience!

I just received a peculiar call from this number. The caller, who had quite a strong foreign accent, seemed to be imitating my greeting of "hello". Then, out of nowhere, he made a strange snorting noise before abruptly disconnecting. Very odd behaviour!

For a moment, I thought about messing with him and having a laugh, but in the end, I decided to hang up. He wasted no time and rang me back straight away, so I promptly blocked the number. What a bunch of con artists!

I got a rather peculiar call, which seemed to be some sort of automated voice purporting to be from Amazon, concerning our Prime membership. It struck me as rather strange since that particular number isn't associated with our Amazon account at all. A swift search of the number led me to this site, and it’s crystal clear that it’s a scammer at work.

I chose not to pick up the phone when this number rang. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, and after perusing the reviews here, it's apparent this is a dodgy operation. I've added them to my block list without hesitation.

Received a call purporting to be from a chap named Daniel, supposedly representing Sky's tech department. The moment I mentioned that his voice seemed a bit muffled, he abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, I must say!

I received a call from an individual with a foreign accent purporting to represent BT Openreach. He insisted that my internet connection was sluggish and insisted he needed to conduct a test on my computer. When I told him I didn't possess one, he promptly apologised and disconnected the line. It definitely struck me as a dodgy attempt at a scam.

I received a call from someone with a thick accent who was having a real struggle with the phone line. They insisted they were from BT Openreach and were offering to enhance my internet speeds (as if that isn’t a classic line!). I mentioned that I wasn’t convinced Openreach actually engages directly with customers and promptly ended the call. It had all the signs of a scam, in my opinion.

Today has been rather busy with phone calls—six in total! I opted not to pick up any of them after searching for the numbers on this site. Each one was distinct: 01372 878386, 01275 316479, 01745 975447, 07863 256396, 01344 883417, and 01205 480016. Such a nuisance!

I received a robotic voice with an American twang claiming my Amazon Prime subscription was set to auto-renew. I promptly terminated the call. These sorts of nuisance calls seem to plague me fortnightly!

They insisted that my (phantom) Prime Account was set to auto-renew and prompted me to PRESS 1 should I wish to chat with an account manager. It truly reeked of a scam! This sort of thing is new to me, though!

They take a shot at figuring out your internet connection and claim there's an issue. Then, they attempt to get you to sign in by asking for your personal info. However, once they clock that you're onto their little trick, they quickly end the call.
