I received a barrage of calls from these fraudsters attempting to swipe my personal and financial details. They were spinning some tall tales about various bogus mobile phone offers and masquerading as employees of Curry's PC World. It's quite alarming, really!

Got a call from an Asian lady with a really thick accent and so much noise in the background it was hard to catch what she was saying. She claimed she could help lower my energy bills. When I asked for specifics about the savings she was offering, I said I didn’t have the details ready since she never set up a time to talk it through properly. She ended the call quickly after that. Definitely felt like a scam. Blocked the number straight away.
