Got a call from someone who said they were from BTA, sounded like a black guy. He told me our internet was all corrupted and wasn’t running at full speed. He kept trying to get me to give him details about our router, but I didn’t want to play along. Then he started asking about what devices were hooked up. I just hung up on him.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT tech support. They asked for details about my router and computer, saying they needed it to clear some error logs. Asked them for an official email or proof, but they just wouldn't give me anything. Definitely just a dodgy cold call.

some bloke rang up claiming to be from bt outreach, wanted to have a look at my router. the cheeky sod even asked for access to my computer! couldn’t give me any proper info though, sounded fishy to me!
