Today I got a call that was just like one I had yesterday, supposedly from Tesco Mobile but the bloke had a really strong Asian accent and said his name was ‘John’. I told him straight up, ‘You’re not John, you’re calling from one of those scam centres in India’, and then he just hung up. I reckon these scammers are using real numbers to make their calls seem legit.
